Roshni Edwards
Hi! I’m a user experience designer based in LA, currently seeking opportunities in the field. I recently graduated (2023) from Occidental College with a degree in Computer Science and a minor in Media Arts and Culture. I have a long-standing relationship with visual and performing arts and a diverse footprint of training in STEM and liberal arts. Design is a passion, which requires a keen eye for structure, flow, and beauty, and I bring a unique skill set that allows me to create both beautiful and functional products.
About Me
I was born and raised in Southern California (with a very short episode living near Berkeley, CA) and have a biracial identity as both African American and South Asian. Outside of design, I am also a professional Voice Actor and Singer, with a leading role on a Disney Junior animated show. You can check out my IMDb page here!
I’ve been a club soccer player for more than a decade, and I’m proud to have dedicated myself to growing the team from entry-level to the highest achievable (Premier).

Education
At Occidental College, I am fortunate to have majored in their relatively unique Computer Science program which not only taught me the technical aspects of the discipline but also uses a liberal arts perspective to examine how computer science can shape, challenge and change social life.
I also minored in Occidental’s Media Arts & Culture (MAC) concentration, which has given me the opportunity to explore contemporary visual and digital cultures, study and create a wide range of media forms, and develop critical and creative skills for engaging in an increasingly participatory media culture.
Combining these two concentrations of study prepares me to be creatively innovative, technically adept, critically inquiring, and socially engaged - both locally and globally.
